    Great series. Very interest World and characters by Kelly Thompson. Essex and Pax are looking for the murderer or murderers who killed the royal, mermaid and the mermaids killer. Can’t recall mermaids name right now.

    I’m halfway through the first book, Essex approaches kids on the lookout to ask if they saw something.

    Loving this series!! I’m currently on book 1, third read through, where Essex approaches the Queen, ex mother in law.

    Phadra Essex survives, of course, finds the heir to the throne, a human, in her room and takes a lead from the new human contingent. What are the human heirs up too? Onto next issue to follow this lead. Up in the trees.

    Finished issue 3. Pax and Essex head to the mermaids to dither investigate the only people the royals are too affraid to influence. On to issue 4.
