THE AGE OF MONSTERS HAS BEGUN! As an enraged Hulk tries to take control of Bruce Banner’s body permanently, a mysterious immortal turns every monster in the Marvel Universe against Banner in an attempt to free their creator, the primordial Mother of Horrors. With the help of an unlikely new friend, Banner and Hulk must try to stop the world from getting plunged into darkness in this terrifying new series!

    An awesome started to the new Hulk series. Some interesting characters emerge. Charlie, the Eldest and Mother of all Horrors. How will Eldest use Hulk to release other of all horrors? Can Bruce escape his alternate persona which he seems to be running from? On to issue 2. A possible 1st appearance of Mother of all Horrors?

    Re-read issue 1. Our story ends with the Eldest calling all marvel monsters to find hulk who has now taken over Bruce banner body. It looks like Hulk is public enemy number 1 in the eyes of the Eldest and the mother of all horrors.

    On to issue 2. Eldest has resurrected Brother Deep. Bruce, teamed up with runaway teen Charlie are forced to visit a town run by a zombie looking creature, Sister Sadie. Sadie is finalizing the resurrection of Brother Deep. She kills banner who then resurrects how own Monterey - hulk. Onto issue 3! Loving this series.

    Charlie and Hulk manage to escape the zombie infested church. Hulk accepts Charlie as they now travel together. Onto issue 4. The Man Thing!

    Swamp thing asks Hulk for help as the eldest has changed his swamp and Nexus realm to “something else”. Hulk is now with Swamp thing in the Nexus realm while Charlie is once again attacked by the zombies in toe with a very large creature. Awaiting issue 5.

    Hulk helps (or is forced to help) man thing defeat the large manifestation attacking the Nexus and also kills the manifestation of Charlie’s brother. Enter Betty Ross as Harpy. She has been summoned by the Eldest to make Hulk a deal. Let have have the hulk and she will give both Betty and Bruce their bodies back as they were at a younger age. On to issue 6.

    Charlie and Hulk come across a town after decking eldest offer and heading west. The town is plagued by monsters who hunt them at night. But “Sal” protects them. Enter a world war 2 ghost rider named Sal!

    Charlie and Hulk have a moment of downtime to reflect on their journey thus far. Last panels show hulk suddenly show signs of infection, perhaps from the previous battle. Enter the war devil on the last panel. Who is this new hunter of men? On to issue 8.

    Hulk, teaming up with Old Ghost Rider take on and defeat War Devil. We learn that eldest is calling on more monsters to take on Hulk. Frozen Charlotte is up next. On to issue 9.

    Hulk and Charlie decide to separate for a bit as Bruce can not control hulk who is about to be released. Bruce thinks it’s best for Charlotte to explore New Orleans while he deals with his monster. Charlie, on her own, find an old antique shop, a cellar within and the last panel has Frozen Charlotte enter. Awaiting issue 10.
