The Immortal Thor

AL EWING, MARTIN COCCOLO & ALEX ROSS GIVE THE GOD OF THUNDER THE ‘IMMORTAL’ TREATMENT!

In Norse myths, they called him Thunderer. Vuer has he been called, and Hloriddi. The Gods know him as Asgard’s King, keeper of Mjolnir, hero of the tales.

When injustice grips the Earth and ancient powers bring down the sky, he fights for those who cannot – and when the tale is done, we will know what that cost him. This is the story of THE IMMORTAL THOR.

  6. We take a break in the series with a single issue story that seems to be a flashback to Thor 272, the first appearance of Skyrmir. The last few panels show that Minotaur is the one actually reading the comic. There is something about Skyrmir, Roxxon and Minotaur that will lead to Thor’s doom. On to issue 7 for what should be the new story arc.

  7. This story is getting terribly confusing. After the last two issues, I’m going to drop this series. It looks like Al Ewing has taken a single issue from Thor’s past, issue 272, and expanded it into a run. Roxxon is reading the story, but has “bought the rights” and is modifying to story to fit the new narrative they are creating. The last few books seem to break the barrier between reader and writer. I’m sure there is some clever shit going on here - but I’m just not digging it. I think it’s time to say good-bye to Thor. I’ll favor the new Conan series moving forward.
