Ka-zar supposedly makes an appearance in issue number three so let’s give this miniseries a try.

Finished issue one. A nice origin and introductory story to werewolf by night Jack Russell. We find Jack distraught after he’s killed his next-door neighbors. This happens when the moon darkens and seems to be an aftermath of the blunt hunt Marvel summer series. Elsa bloodstone enters the scene in the last few panels and decides to help her friend. The last few panels also have dark cold coming into the scene, trying to rebuild their team after the results of blood hunt. Onto issue too can Jack figure out who has killed his friends.
ReplyDeleteFinished issue 2. Darkhold is attacking Werewolf by Night one piece at a time. Elsa and Moonight look like they are going to help. Awaiting issue 3 where we will find Werewolf in the savage Land?

Werewolf by Night troubled by his uncontrollable urge to hunt and kill teleports to the Savage Land with Else Bloodstone by his side only to be treated by Ka-zar, Shanna and Zabu who are troubled by their unexpected visitor. Ka-zar and Jack battle it out. ka-zar dominates the fight and Jack now finds himself in a cage awaiting death. Onto issue 4.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good synopsis of the story so far. JACK RUSSELL sought refuge in the SAVAGE LAND.
ReplyDeleteHowever, neither Jack nor his only confidant, monster hunter ELSAN BLOODSTONE, were able to leash the Werewolf's rampage as Jack's bloodlust drove him to attack ZABU, incurring the violent wrath of the rulers of the Savage Land: KA-ZAR and SHANNA!
Meanwhile, the DARKHOLDERS have continued in their quest to rebuild their sacred DARKHOLD, a tome of incomprehensible evil-though some mages have begun to question the efficacy of THE HOOD's leadership.
However, the Hood's latest chthonic acquisition may have just turned the tables in their favor as the elder mage DORGANA was able to take a literal pound of Jack's flesh and clone their very own WEREWOLF BY NIGHT!
Issue 4 was great. Werewolf by Night is banished from the Savage Land after his team up with ka-zar doesn’t go so well. Onto issue 5.
