Savage Sword of Conan: Reforged

Savage Sword of Conan: Reforged reimagines Marvel’s legendary black-and-white sword-and-sorcery magazine for a modern audience, while preserving the raw power that made the original series iconic. These editions present classic Robert E. Howard adaptations with newly applied digital color, enhancing atmosphere, clarity, and cinematic impact without altering the original artwork. Rather than replacing the gritty 1970s experience, Reforged offers a parallel way to engage with Conan — one that bridges pulp fantasy tradition with contemporary comic presentation, inviting both longtime fans and new readers to explore the Hyborian Age in a bold new light.

Soundtrack:  Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties

- Secret Treaties was released roughly the same time as the original issue #1.  Lyrics are fitting for the ancient grimoires featured in this series.

  1. Finished issue 1. I actually do like the colors despite some of the criticism it’s been receiving online. This issue contained a bunch of classic stories like frost giants daughter. Onto issue 2.

  2. Finished issue 2. What artwork by John Buscema and the story was so good. I might try to find this issue in original format.
